I finally will be starting my comprehensive exams within days. There are three parts to the exam process, and two of my committee members now are looking over my synthesis for their respective components and writing exam questions. I am suddenly very frightened...as in big knot in my stomach frightened. So happy Fourth of July weekend and all that; I will be withdrawing from all social engagement and planting myself on a chair on my deck to read, read, read...
